Malcolm X Day

Malcolm X Day is a cultural event held in May that promotes the positives of black culture and celebrates the memory of our fallen hero Malcolm X or “El Hajj Malik El-Shabazz”. We felt that he is most certainly a champion for black people and never received the credit he deserves. Instead of waiting on someone to give him a day, we decided that we would be the ones to give him his very own day in honor of his memory and legacy. His message of empowerment is still relevant today’s society.
